Ashley Miller

Music Therapist Accredited (MTA) Ashley Miller was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta.

She began to seriously study music at the age of 13, taking lessons in clarinet, voice and percussion.

Her love for music continued into adult hood, and she obtained a Bachelor of Music Performance at the University of Montana. Not stopping there, Ashley continued her education in performance and music therapy at the University of New Mexico, and Acadia University in Nova Scotia.

Ashley has participated in clarinet training with several esteemed instructors, including Joyce Howdle, Dr. Maxine Ramey, Keith Lemmons and Dr. Stan Fisher. She has also had the privilege of studying music therapy under the direction of Paul Lauzon and Dr. Heather Price, followed by an internship with supervisor Nicola Oddy.
